Some folks in their Sunday best and some folks serious about their day of rest.
Sunday marked the 2012 Seersucker Ride and it was a beautiful day for it. I appreciated the temperate weather and my generous fellow picnickers. They were gracious enough to let me take pictures and share their repast. I caught up with the ride at its destination since I only decided to go at the last minute. Much much planing is required to use the metro area's public transit on the weekends.
After the ride, I checked out the historical sites in the cemetery and met a documentarian who noticed the Seersucker Ride and wondered if it signified a movement of some kind. Of course, I answered, "Yes," and he ended up conducting an interview of me which I will post very soon. How about that?! The Seersucker Ride got cycling noticed in all sorts of way this year. Kudos to Kyle, Indra, Nikki, Gareth, and Phillip for putting together a splendid ride year after year. I look forward to what they have in the works for the winter!
